I have the service manual from DC.

Is there a corresponding engine manual that comes directly from Cummins for the new ISB?

If so, where can I get it and how much $?

I spoke with a Cummins factory rep today about getting an official manual for the common rail ISB. He told me that the DC manual is the only manual that will be available for the engine. He said Dodge has taken complete command of the new engine and hence is handling all the service literature, and all the service.

Does this bother anyone other than me? Not that DC is a bad company, but I'd really feel much better about things if they would leave the engine completely in the hands of Cummins... more like for the 2nd generation. I'm starting to have nightmares about injectors going bad (see this thread ) and DC being unable to satisfactorily remedy the problem. It's terrible... I wake up in a cold sweat.

I'd feel safer knowing I could go to a Cummins service center and have my engine worked on.
