Cummins N14

Hello everyone. I'm checking to see if anyone knows where to go with this one. I have a friend with a 99 Volvo with a Cummins N14 motor with one bad injector. A replacement is just short of $500, and I was wondering who could rebuild his cheaper so he could save some $$ and not worry about mismatch with the other injectors.



Any advice would be appreciated!

Shop around. When I worked at a distributor the injectors were around the $400. 00 mark.

Not to hijack your thread but I have a Cummins Icon which is an engne management system for the N-14. I have $43. 00 in it if anyone is interested. bg

about 4 years back, the n-14 in one of my international dumps lost an injector prematurely[90k miles]. i shopped around and got a 250. 00 variance in the prices of three different diesel shops. my nearest international dealer was the lowest price on the part and labor. right at 575. 00 in labor,diagnosis,and parts. shop around, and as mentioned give ebay a try, especially if you are your own mechanic. .
