SRadke,

It's 11:45pm and it's just hit me that the word i was after was TRAC BAR rather that drag link. The track bar and the drag link lLOL have to be parallel to prevent bump steer. With my projected 10" of travel I wasn't sure how to attach the trac bar without causinmg a bind. Any ideas anyone. I may start this in the offroad section too.

Ahh..... A late night BFO (blinding flash of the obvious). I love those. It's really no big deal. All you have to do is space down the point at which the trac bar attaches to the frame of the truck and then drop the pitman arm down. The track bar is relatively simple (at least on the third gens) but I don't know if you'll find a pitman arm with that much drop in it. Mine goes into the alignment shop thursday but I'll post a couple pictures when I get home.

OK, here's a front end picture. You can see the pitman arm at the top of the pic and the bracket that spaces the track bar down at right. In a perfect world all of these bars would run parallel to the axle but it drives really nice like this.

Hey Seed Guy how does well does that setup work? How much rub do you get? I'm ordering D25's tomorrow, and when my 255's that came with the truck wear out in a the next month or so I'm planning on going with 315's.

I too have the D25 coils with 315's. I have never rubbed in the fender well and there is only a slight rub when sitting on the stops. After awhile you won't even notice it because you learn to back off just a little when cranking it hard. One thing I noticed was that since I went from BFG AT's to Dunlop Mud Rovers the rub at lock is even less. The benefit to MT's are that the corners are usually rounded, hence more clearance.
