Cummins part numbers

I am looking for source information on how to obtain all the cummins part numbers for the b series I can, 4bt and 6bt included.



I would really like login name and password to quickserve. cummins.com as my local dealer gave me some sweet print out exploded view with all partnumbers etc... for just one item i had to replace. I only need it for reference!



I hate haveing to call cummins everytime i see something for sale on other sites listed by part number to see if they might fit my cummins, i called them three times this week alone.



I also have a cummins operation and maintenance manual and i do see they make a parts manual of some sort, but would this cover the dodge version? also what yrs are listed in this type of manual? like they say print date of the manual is 97 how far back is it good for with the numbers?



Any help with this i would greatly appreciate it.

I have a parts manual for a 6bt 5. 9 for the dodge 1990 model year from cummins . I just ran to the basement to find it I found one thatsays 6bt,6bta5. 9 it is bulletin#3884254 printed in9/88. I can't find the one that I think is dodge specific. I will have to find more time to look.

Did you ask them if you could buy a subscription? I know we sell it to some people, mostly dealers, and I think there are different levels of authorization as far as the info goes.



I would give you my password but I was told its worth about as much as my job so I guess youre out of luck.

Jbolt that would be perfect, little $$ but would work.

But i would also like to find newer items and such. Buddies have a 01 and an 03, so i would like to be able to possibly look up thier stuff. I also have interest in purchasing a 4bt for future project use.



phillips5 sounds like what i have been seeing for sale, parts manual, think i might have to just start purchsing a lot or a few to figure out if that is what i am lookin for.

Just thinking out loud here. I really don't know if this is feasible.



Maybe the TDR could work with Cummins Inc. and buy a group membership to Quickserve Online. With your TDR membership they also give you a different user name and password for QSOL. Or maybe there is a way to limit access to QSOL thru the TDR website only, that way only TDR members get in.



This would cost a bit more for your TDR membership (you have to expect Robin and the gang to make a profit off it, that is only fair), but you would get the benefits of QSOL.



Let the ferd and chebby boys go to the dealer, you fix it yourself, cause you can. Right?
