NICE!!
I never did understand why more agencies don't go with a cummins, frequently deputies are stuck with high mileage units that are underpowered and in use way past their service life.

Ahh yes, I know the answer, short sighted administrators and commissioners...

I would think you could benefit a bunch by getting a good suspension on that unit. If you need to keep it the stock ride height Carli's front bumps would be huge to help any front end bottoming out, especialy with that cow catcher out front

Not to hijack this thread - but here in deer/elk country, I'd sure like a capable front bumper - but most that are up to taking a substantial hit are way too big and heavy - I'm sorta interested in the lighter aluminum versions, but not real sure how they compare strength-wise with steel ones...

Broadband

I'm still looking at a crummy 27" Magnavox analog T. V. ,but I allow myself the luxury of broadband. I realize that some of you in rural areas cannot get it though.

bob it has a 5" pro comp lift. soon to change to a BDS 6" front (no spacer) and rear leaf set up, along with traction bars, axel rap is a bit hard on the kidneys... any suggestions for a good set of them from anyone?

Who paid for all the mods and the truck? If you did than you must really love what you do, I drove my truck for the company I used to work for but I was installing theater and A/V systems, a little bit lower risk driving than being a police officer, I averaged around 50 to 60 miles a day for the company, you must be stacking up the miles if your using it on patrol. Oh yeah, that is one sweet ride, I wouldn't want to see those lights flashing in my rearview.

Must have took you several minutes to think of reasons to NOT d/l it..... geesh one in every room... .....

over 2700. 00 in lights

i tried downloading it, but i got to about 50% and it sat and froze. . cancel the d/load and try again and i am forced to wait. . rapidshare freezes from time to time. . youtube like you changed it is better. . Google Video is pretty good too.

looks good, but I cant help but think of the line from Bad Boys II when Will Smiths character is asking for reimbursment for the damage to his Ferrari and the Captian says "Thats why we drive things called police cars" :-laf

Didnt know that departments would let thier police officers drive thier own vehicle on patrol. Seems like a high liability for them.

They usally dont allow it. A Police chief would be crazy to allow this. If something should happen (ie an accident where a civilian gets hurt with the higher bumper) the civil litigation would be short and costly.

I cant imagine any department allowing this in CA.

GOD BLESS TEXAS, i only wish we could do half the things they get away with.

Tried to respond to PM, but you have it turned off.

So... ... ... ... -

You'll be ready for Baja next, with the new bumper. ;)

Gonna put a winch on, too? Could then pull out the idiots and give a proper beating they deserve for them making you chase them. I wouldn't, but I'd sure be thinking about it. :-laf

Keep up the good work. :D
