Just got a buzz from a friend at Cummins NW, and he told me about an upcoming rally in May. It's going to be a pretty big event, with a BBQ and all kinds of great stuff. Here's what he told me:

They also asked anyone thinking of coming to RSVP at 425-235-3400. This way they'll know how much food to get, etc.

I went to the same rally they hosted back in October of '98, and it was a blast. They had the shop open, and had several torn apart engines of various sizes to look at. Information was plentiful, many friends were made, and the hours they said in which it would last didn't mean squat!

My '98. 5 was one of three 24-Valve trucks there, so guys were really scopin' her out!

I was picking up filters at Cummins NW in Renton last monday,and they invited me back for a 'customer appreciation' barbeque the next day. 'Course I didn't have time to on such short notice. They ought to do a little better advertising for stuff like this. I work on the next block from them and they never have flyers or put signs out on the fence or anything.

I called Dave Smith on Wednesday, April 25th and confirmed the cancellation.

However, Shelley Automotive has a New Dynojet and they said that they might be interested in putting one on in Spokane.
