Why Cummins is world renoun

These guys seem to like to side step a lot of issues. I sent them an E-mail pertaining to the cold weather surging that a number of members seem to have that happens under acceleration. You guys who have it will know what I am talking about. Anyways, they sent me a long E-mail back describing it as the grid heater cycle function. And I was specific to tell them that mine doesn't act up until after it has been at normal operating temps for a while. How the heck does that get an explanation regarding the grid heaters? WTF

I think there are better sources to ask a tech question than the Powermasters. I say this because I read through their bi-yearly? booklet that comes in the mail.

Anybody remember the 3-4 page Mag-Hytec rear cover install???? :D

'nuff said. :p

While I'm a member of Powermaster, it's certainly not for the tech info they provide. They seem to cater to the RV types that want to cram on minute trivia concerning trucks and RVs. I do like the discount at Cummins and that's why I'm still a member.
