New School Buses Arrived!!

MPG Loss with ULSD- Let's Find Some Facts

I was making a delivery to BIG LOTS last week, when I noticed on the automotive shelf, next to the ice scrapers and the HEET gas treatment, a black and red bottle with a logo that really caught my eye, our beloved Cummins "C". It is Cummins premium plus diesel fuel additive. It is a lubricity/cleaner additive that is in a 32 oz. bottle. It even says Columbus, IN, 47202 on the label. Has anyone used this before? Reason I ask is because there were over a dozen bottles on the shelf, all dusty, and were only GET THIS- $1. 50 per 32 oz bottle. Compared to some of the other additives out there, this is extremely inexpensive. One quart (32oz. ) treats 125 gallons. So, rough estimate, 30 gallon tank / 120 gallons of tratment= 4 tanks per bottle.

I bought 10 bottles here in central Georgia..... Tuesday morning I am going to call Cummins South and talk to parts manager and see it it is discontunued tonic water or over stock on cummins-part... . will report back next week... ... trucksalesdave... ... . central Georgia

Back in Oct. in my parta atore Aguy was going through some of the diesel fuel additives pasting stickers on the labels which read something like this "Not compatible with Ultra Low sulphur diesel fuels" As im sure you know these fuels went into effect about that time. Maybe this is is the old stuff.

Checked my local "Big Lots" 3 of them, and bought all they had ( 29 bottles) I'm set for a while, but will still blend it with MMO,and power service and 2cycle oil. :)

Nothing here in S. D. Just a lot of customers in mumu's.

Reminds me of what Jeff Fox Worthy said, " If your butt looks like two racoons wrasslin in a sack of corn, spandex may not be for you. "
