Thanks, TDR Staff

Hey - How's the developement of the Chapters going?

NW BOMBERS...I found a DYNO

TERRY-There will be more EZ's at bandimere than you will ever need, I'm sure of it. I have one, just come talk to me. Blue QC with cowl hood and slicks.

P. S. Pete- I found some rims and tires. You could use them also if you want. The tires aren't very tall though.

I run a 15inch rim with 10x29. 5 slick, it does stick out the side a bit but I don't care.

I wish I could be there, next year for sure. :D :D

Race on guys. :D

Is kevin arts going out

Stefan... I'm hoping to make it. I have a couple of new top secret toys to install on my truck and test out first. I'm hoping that I get everything in time so that I can adjust my shift points... if ya know what I mean.

You know... on the other hand maybe I should stay home... i don't want to make Jordan jealous of my time or anything... LMAO... . just play'n jordan...

Bummer your not going to be here... I'd love to have all of the DTT crew out here to join us... . Hopefully next year.

Kev

Thanks for the offer, Jordan, but with the 5 spd (and limited slip) I don't have the traction problems you do with an open diff and 27 psi on the line. :D

RMTDR breakfast

Just read this thread and sure sounds like a good time. I'm going to try and make it as the fishing is starting to slow around here anyway:D If you guys don't mind a Wyoming guy or two at your breakfast could you let me know where it will be at? It would sure be nice to put some faces to names. Thanks alot,

Doug

P. S. Wyosteve, I think I sent you an E-mail. Please let me know if it didn't go through. Thanks

Hello all! It's good to hear that some people from the TDR are gonna show up at this thing... I was starting to wonder! Also, since there are gonna be some guys with Cummins experience out there, I was wondering if could I get some assistance in turning up my VE pump on that day... I might even be tempted to do a before and after drag run :D I can bring along my tools, and maybe someone can walk me through it, I just have not had the guts to open up my pump yet.

Thanks,

See you all there!

By the way, I drive a 93' black and silver 4x4 regular cab. So if you see me flag me down!

Ok fellas,

I'll find a place for everyone to meet for breakfast. I'll let you know time and place. I'll talk to Kevin and see what his plans are. Did everyone get the Flyer from CMP. They're going to have a booth there.

I will be there Sunday, but I will not be there Saturday as I am going to be watching another event going on farther up the mountains. So I hope to see you all.

Doug, I guess its a good thing I didn't enter that rock crawling competition. I managed to greneade a stub shaft in the front Dana 60 on the Blazer last weekend, along with a hub and a rear brake line. Don't think I would've been able to get the parts in time.

Pete

Well I would sure think its a good idea you did not enter the competition as I don't think you would get to far in 2-wheel drive. Are you still planning on spectating as I am looking forward to it? Where or what trail where you on to do that nasty carnage, I think this weekend I am going to have to give you some driving lesson 101 (just kinding). I hope while four-wheeling last weekend you had a lot of fun other then the breakage of coarse and hopefully you will get it fixed soon.

I still have 3 wheel drive. ;) We were on the Independence trail, near Penrose, CO. I'm looking into 35 spline outer shafts, stock is 30. Here's the link to the competition:

#ad

It starts at 8, I'll probably shoot for being there around 9 +/- 1. Should be pretty interesting, I guess some of the ARCA regulars will be there along with the locals. Wish my junk was ready, I wouldn't stand a chance but it would still be fun.

Just looked at the map, Take I-70 West to Hwy 40 (Exit 232), the 72 miles to Kremmling, Right onto 22nd Street, 1/2 mile, Left on County Road 224, address is 756 County Road 224, Kremmling, CO, 80459.

Hey, Big A and the CO. guys. Is there anything lined up for Sunday and the Truck Fest? I was just wondering. I saw an ad for Christophers Dodge World on west Colfax that said they were having the Cummins display on site for enrollment in the Diesel Booster club. I was thinking about stopping by and checking it out to see what it was. Really never heard of it before. It may not be the real thing as the ad had Cummins mispelled as Cumming's. You would think of all people the Dodge Dealer could spell Cummins correctly. This is supposed to be on Saturday. If I go and there is anything of interest I'll let you know.

This is off the subject , but was wondering if any of you guys happened to be an Amsoil dealer going to this thing? If so, and have an airfilter by chance for my 01 could you bring it and let me know how to find you? Thanks alot,

Doug

I apologize for not setting up a time and place to meet, but it sounds like alot of us are going. I'll try and get there early. If anyone knows Bandimere, and can suggest a place to meet, that would be great.

Thanx

Well, I think Jordan had the best time out of the TDR members. I think he ran a 16. 2. It was about 95* out, the heat was killing everbody. There were a 3 Dodges running 15s, a white 24V, a silver 24V, and a Black '98 12V, all autos. Best I did was a 16. 9, the 5 spd definitly doesn't help at the strip. Didn't see any fast Powerstrokes. There was also a twin engine semi tractor running 6 turbos, he did a 13. The other fast tractor was an old single axle w/ a short wheel base, pretty cool looking, that ran 14s. I made it to the second round of eliminations, then got knocked out when I missed 3rd gear.

Pete

Hey Pete, I was a little disapointed with mine at first, best time 17. 2 . But when I watched the much touted Dura-Max's run in the low 18's I was much more happy with mine. I guess 100 degrees at around 6000 feet really takes the wind out of everybodys sails.

Did anyone hear what the corrected altitude was for the afternoon?

Also I was suprised I didn't see more of our local members out there.

I had a Great time. I was happy with my runs as it improved my P. R. but in the 14's would be great. I talked to some people and found out how the white dodge was runnning so fast. TOP SECRETE. But to say the least he had the unfair advandtage. But I will give a clue he only had a VA.

What was the white truck running? I didn't see it, just the silver one and the black one. The black one had a badge on the side that said "Supertuned by Piers Diesel Research". I talked with the guy with silver one, he had an ATS (I think, it was Automotive Transmission something) shirt on. I raced a guy with a truck almost identical to mine (except a 24V short box) that claimed 520 hp and 1200 ft lbs, it was on propane. Funny thing, he had the same 16. 9 dial in as me. I won that round when he stalled on the starting line. The guy driving was not the owner, he was racing his S-10.

Pete

I was there, lots of cool trucks, also lots of nice looking jiglys running aroud:D to look at. I did see a RMTDR sticker in the back window of truck in the parking lot, be good to have one of those.

If you ask me. . it sounds like this guy probably has a twin turbo setup. LOL
