Unless your fuel injection pump is junk, I think it's a waste of money. Can gain more power at a fraction of the price with a TST or other brand fueling plate.

The kit is listed for 1994-1997 vehicles, but Cummins told me it would also work on me truck after checking the engine serial number. The price about a year ago was $3270. I wrote down two kit numbers... 3676597RX and 3696597D, but I don't recall the difference, if any. I never did the upgrade.

Sorry for the delay, we have been doing inventory at work this week. Here are the p/ns for the two "uprate" kits. First p/n 3676446RX is for 1994-1995 CTD with the auto. It would boost power for 160hp/400tq to 175hp/420tq, the same as the manual trans had. It included a recalibrated fuel pump and 6 injectors. The second kit was for 1994-1998 12v and would give you 230hp and 605tq. You got a recalibrated fuel pump, 6 inj, and a new waste gate actuator for your turbo. The actuator was the same one 215hp had and the inj were for a 230hp engine. Technically you were supposed to change the CPL to 1553 which was the 230/605 engine like what was available in a Freightliner. This was the highest rating for an automotive engine that Cummins had for the 12v engine. In reality you could do a lot more for a lot less with aftermarket parts. The part number with the " D " on the end of it is for the core charge. Shadrach
