Does anyone out there who has a manual transmission know if the Cup Smoothie from Geno's Garage will fit with the transmission in 2-4-R? It looks like it will, but I want to be sure.

We have a 6speed,y2K,and the smoothie cup holder. We love it. Only thing is can't move the center console up in 6th. That has not been a problem as we hardly put it up anyway.

Mark,

According to Robert Patton they call it a cup smoothie because it smooths out your shifts with a 5 speed. I dunno if that makes any sense or not, but that's their story.

Works great with the 5 speed. One of the best add-ons you can get. Just wish I could figure out where to put the CB radio.

It's a tad harder to get into reverse, other than that it fits fines. If you put a tall cup in the left cup holder, you can't use 4th. I generally use one of the tall plastic 44 oz cup holder style cups in the right cup holder, fits great. I used the supplied velcro, and with the console lid closed the cup smoothie is very snug, even with the center seat folded up. Even with no lid on the cup, it takes a pretty big bump to spill your drink. With the stock spring board cup holder I had to use a lid. The only bummer is having to use the sorry stock cup holders when the dog is in the truck.

Works great. Only problem is one of those big gulp drinks in the center hole.....

Ninearrow--Use Mike Brolin's CB bracket-it mounts in front of the center console, under the smoothie. Depends on hoe big your CB is--I had to notch the smoothie out some to be able to see the knobs on the radio--but it works fine if you don't fiddle with the radio all the time... #ad

Did any of you guys have trouble adjusting the latch for the console lid? I haven't been able to budge mine. Channel locks don't do the job.
