TSB-02-001-01 States that there is a lower block kit for rear of are trucks. it lowers the height 1. 7/8. but it can not be used with camper special package which my truck has. i pull two differant gooseneck trailers thats way i order the package. WHAT IN THE WORLD DOES OVERLOAD SPRINGS HAVE TO DO WITH SPACER BLOCKS AND SHOCKS. THANKS

The kit will replace the factory blocks that are sitting on your rear leafs with something smaller so that the rear of your truck is low enough to fit with some trailers.

I do not know what size block you have on your truck but my stock blocks are like 4 3/4 inch but thats a 4x4.

Going from memory, my 2500 2wd had camper/overload springs. I just lowered my 3500 4x4, and it does not have overload springs, or sway bar. I believe the sway bar is your issue. Because it is attached to rear and spring, changing blocks will change this set-up.

Just a guess, good luck. In my opinion, I would look elsewhere for a set-up. DC is kind of $$$$$$$$.

I've lowered both of my 4x4's 2-1/2" and basically had the same question about the overloads and shocks.

I run Rancho 9000s shocks and still have the overloads on. I would post pictures, but if you do a search you will find them out there, if the search worked.

I 'built' my own lowering kit.
