Okay I uploaded the pictures of my "Custom" intake hose, check them out in my gallery. The SS exhaust tip came from eBay, it is a 4" to 5" straight cut tip. The 4" fits in the turbo end pretty easily but the 5" end has to be shrunk down to about 4. 75". I used a cut off wheel & put around 10 slices in it about 1/8 to 3/16 in. wide by 1" long, then used a couple of water hose clamps to collapse it till it would fit inside of the air box end then beat it in. I also heated up the ends as to allow for some stretch. It was a piece of cake.

Yes, I drilled 18 or 19 1 1/4" holes around the filter back at the fender where water won't run in from the gap in the hood. I think there were 10 holes around and 8 or 9 on the front and bottom side to utilize the cooler air coming in from behind the headlight. I also have plans of isolating the air box from the engine bay somewhat with a stainless shield, it's all in my head at this point though.

OMG mine looks almost identical to yours! Oh wait it must be because I got all the parts form you. The only difference in mine is that I mounted the air filter by cutting away the center section of the air box and mounting it to my Green HP re useable air filter. I used several sheet metal screws to hold it on to the AF then sealed it using black silicone. I used a piece of 3/4 inch bar stock to make a support for the rear of the air filter. It all works great.
