Yea, I guess I should have been more specific, I was able to get a different Cummins fan hub assembly that places the fan centered above the harmonic balancer, also doesnt have the protrusion the normal 24 valve pulley has. It does have the threaded snout for a O. E. fan clutch. The issue I am having is that I have about 3/4-1 inch clearance from the cluth to the radiator (this is good) but I am needing a fan whose blades dont stick back farther than the 4 mounting holes on the clutch.
Picture this... 1111111______1111111 with the fan clutch being in the middle and on top of the dashes and the threaded piece sticking out the bottom of the dashes. So to answer your question, belt driven. I am hoping someone knows of a place that can make a fan. I talked with Flex-a-Lite today after seeing custom fans available on their web site but all they can do is custom bolt patterns, no offset changes. Big deal, doesnt help me.
