I can hear the rednecks complimenting that headliner from here - Cletus would say: "Woooooo----eeeeee! That there's a purty lookin' headliner... !!"

It's original... I like it. 'Lot better than putting suede or Gucci up there like some folks do...

blue-beast,,

remove the headliner from the truck,,peel the the thin oem material off ,, spray headliner with 3M SUPER 77 SPRAY ADHESIVE,,have someone hold the other end of the fabric and lay it down on to the liner,,start through the center of the headliner and smooth it out with your hand as you work your way out to the edges. cut an "x" in the hole locations (overhead console, sunvisors etc).

i let it dry at that point and then flipped it over to glue the ecess fabric to the underside for a perfect finished edge. i cut the fabric about 3" long all the way around just for that reason.

holeshot,,think thats bad ?? you should see my computer/trophy room,,,i have the same material on the walls:eek: :D

Where is it??? I can't see what you are talkin about Ice. Is it camoflagued??? ;) Cool deal! Real tree the rest of the rig , gimmie your 1 millionth cummins style graphics and call it christmas.

toolman,,,i think you are confused,,,the new headliner is in my old 94 ram not the dually with the graphics. i may just do the 01's headliner too,,,and nooooo i am not camo'ing the outside of that truck so forget about getting my graphics:p

holeshot,,,tell ya what !!! i will post pics of my camo walls first thing in the morning:eek: just for you to see camo walls:D

hope ya don't mind seeing a few whitetail heads in the pics:D

you need to post the other pics that you took over the weekend, i think everyone would get a kick out of a few of them. that looks even better in the truck than it did on the bench!

There was an article in todays's paper about the company that sells the camo fabric to the military, putting in lead chromate to cut down on the IR signature of the fabric cheaply (whistle blower type story) , and that this could cause problems for the soldiers?

Do not know if this creates any issues, just found it interesting?

That looks great! I was thinking of some ideas for mine and that sure turned out good. Im kinda weary of doing mine b/c its and ex cab and that's alot of material to keep glued up. Hmmm who knows. :D

pullinram,

go to snydercreek's website and you will see a list of the different fabric weights available.

you will want to use the 7oz poly/cotton blend ,,it is very light.

also you will see that 1 yard of fabric measures 60 inches by 36 inches. i measured my quad cab and the 60" will be plenty to cover the liner from front to back. i didn't measure side to side but it looks like 2 yards (60"x72") will be enough to do a quad cab.

the 3m glue is pretty strong and i don't think it will be an issue on holding the fabric up. time will tell though.

Liked it so much I did my ex cab I bought mossy oak breakup at fields(the local store) it was 6 bucks a yard I bought 3 and did the visors to. the seam on the visors is a tuck hem you just have to trim it 3/8 long and tuck it in there. worked graet thanks for the idea

Mabye some of you guys that are thinking of doing this should find a fabric with mabye a FULL SIZE:eek: picture of BRITNEY SPEARS!!!!

How cool would that be... . driving to work with Britney EVERY day. Would make that drive a bit easier!!!:D
