Does anyone know who manufactures a rear bumper where I can mount my spare tire and have it swing out of the way when I need to open the tailgate? I have a friend who would also like to mount one on his E-350 Econoline Van. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Like the spare tire mount on the Rickard bumper (no longer available:() that is on Andy Perreault's truck?

Thanks for all of the information, I will pass this to those who want to replace their factory unit.

Layne at Denver Off Road also makes one.

Anyone have a pic of Laynes? I have a DOR front bumper and am pretty impressed, I'd like to check out the rear bumper. I also heard he was making a front skid plate (not sure if it's true or not).

I dont have pictures of his rear but another member I think his name was joe sparks or sparkz and he had some pictures up in a thread last year. I have seen Laynes rear bumper and it is nice. It actually has storage in it. The top of it locks and lifts up. It is about the same size as stock and you use your original hitch. A high lift jack will fit in it. He also has options for gas can and tire carriers. And he does make the front skid plate. He originally made them for the 3rd gens when they came out. I asked him about one for a 2nd gen and he made one up for me. I really like it.

Okay I found the old thread with pictures of his rear courtesy of JoSparkz
