I just purchased an almost stock 1995 2500, AT, 2WD, Long Bed and would like to replace the bed with a Service/ Utility Box.

Does anyone have any suggestions for companies that make them with: a) contours that closely match the cab; b) custom layout and equipment options; c) high quality construction and hardware; and d) relatively light weight (if practical) materials?

(It would also be nice if they were located in the Western US -- preferably in CA or NV. )

Thanks!

Mine came from the dealer........

They had a deal with Harbor truck bodies. I relly like it. It's not custom but built well and very sturdy. This version was close to $6K. I could only imagine what a custom box would run. Of course a 2500 box would be a little less.

I've seen the ones that curve slightly with body contours but not sure who makes them. For me I wouldn't want to give up any of the space.

Nice......

That Grand Challenger would look sweet on a 2500. Looks like you actually gain some space from the pics. Don't know about the ladder rack though. Doesn't seem to be sturdy enough to haul sheet goods too.

harbor truck bodies are well built, they used to be in San Pedro area. Good product, I have compared them to others. Stick with one in your area, for parts & service if ever needed.

While I, too, know that Harbor makes a good quality service body -- and I'll check them out if I can't find something closer to what I want elsewhere -- I think that the Stahl Grand Challenger looks closer to what I want and I'll be checking them out first.

Thanks for the suggestions! (I welcome any others too. )
