New Member Here,
I've been looking through all of the threads everyone has posted. They have all been helpful, I even adjusted my star wheel yesterday. Obviuosly i am looking for more power. My tail pipe just fell off, so I think I'll just tke the muffler out too. Anyway, my problem is this. When pulling my trailer up long hills or on long stretches of interstate the accelerator pedal sinks to the floor, and the engine looses all power and shuts down. I am usually able to pull off to the side of the road. Anyway, I pop the hood purge the fuel/ water seperator. I can usually get it started after that. I have changed the F/W separator three times in the past three months, and the problem hasn't gone away. The dealership suggested that I put new spark-plugs in! Needless to say Maryland isn't helpful. ANy help or ideas would be appreciated. One more thing Has anyone had problems shifting into reverse. After moving the gear selector, it takes abou 30-45sec. before it will shift, only in the mornings. I have a 94 2500 4X4.
Thanks Again,
John
P. S. Glad to see I am not the only one with a messed up fuel gage.
