I'm in the process of getting my guages in my truck and I'm looking to get rid of some of this unwanted boost line. Can you cut it and with what? Just making sure it can be done before I ruin the line some how.

The only problem I have had so far was when I took the old pipe fitting out of the manifold for the Autometer gauge it took one thread out with it. I had to ride to my buddies shop with a hole in the manifold to get a tap. Still haven't figured out how I'm going to get the transmission gauge hooked in yet. I would rather get the other two and then work on the transmission one this weekend.

Cut away, use a razor blade with light pressure, kinda roll it under the blade on a bench or cutting board. You probably could use a fine tooth hacksaw as long as you de-burred the end with a file afterwards. Just make sure no matter what you do, the inside isn't crushed down. Use a small reamer, or little philips screw driver carefully on the end to open it back up if you do. I used the hole cutter for my RC truck bodies. :)

Or you could just coil up the extra under the dash. ;)

As for the transmission... I've got mine screwed into the transmission on the back passenger side. Not the best, I'm told. If you want to be able to monitor fluid temp changes more accurately, I heard Mass Diesel has a replacement transmission cooler line you can hook a sensor into. Supposed to be a better indicator of fluid temp.
