Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Cylinder head machine work in ALASKA?

Hey guys, I'm preparing to do a head gasket on my truck and want to get o-ring grooves cut and do it right once. Anyone know a reputable machine shop that will do this? I'm in Fairbanks but willing to drive to anchorage.

Since there haven't been any replies, I'll just throw out my $0. 02. You might try Advance Diesel in Anchorage. I don't think they do any machine work, but they may know of a good machine shop. Unfortunately I don't really have any suggestions for the Fairbanks area.

You could try Northern Industrial and Automotive Machine on Davis Rd in Fairbanks. I've had some engine and brake work done there, and that's where I would start.

The only place I have had any work done is Port Machine Shop on Andrew St. in Fairbanks. Just normal head work, nothing custom. But they did do a good job.
