Does anyone one know what the 100k added diesel wrap covers. My truck is in the shop for a lift pump and service man says only covers drive train and engine. I asked him about the turn signal housing and steering column problem i was having and he says no way on housing.

My understanding of the "Diesel Wrap" pkg. tthat I bought is that is covers everything else from bumper to bumper with a $50 deductable. Pull your policy and look at it. If you are still not certain, call the 800# on your ID card and ask 'em!

Update

Ok heres the deal. The diesel added wrap only covers engine ,drivetrain and steering components ie: steering column.

I took mine in for a failed lift pump, and decided to go for all of it . I had the steeng column groan and a leaky transfer case,Bolt missing from maifold. They are taking care of everything so far except for the tranfer case ,said they need to check it again.

So far its been ok D-C is going to pay for two tow jobs, scince i explained that my horse broke down saturday at3pm and all dealers here close at 2pm. I had my bro pick it up and store it at his tow yard until monday then to the dealer. And i have a rental to boot ( no not even atruck ) but atleast i have wheels. So i will post a follow up tomorrow about the rest of my trip to the dealer.

Ps . every one saw my pacbrake and didnt even say anything about it

Dealer fixed transfer case also , so evey thing in my^^^ list^^^ above was taken care of

Pulled my policy and called my dealer. Here is the skinny. The term "Diesel Wrap" is a catch-all phrase that the F&I people use when they close your deal. The fact is, there are various levels of the "Diesel wrap" warranties. My "Diesel Wrap" is the "Added Care" level. It covers electrical, AC, instrumentation, engine cooling and fuel, steering and on and on. Package cost me $775 and takes over where my basic warranty ended. $50 deductable.
