D-MAX

The local dealer has told my father that the D-Max is mad by Volvo not Isuzu, and it is also an old engine. He was told by the dealer that the engine has been running around Europe for many years. I want proof one way or the other ! The dealer also said it is warrantied to go 200,000 miles !! I think the dealer is full of doggie doo #ad

Your dealer is brain dead, the engine as used by GM will be "new" as far as major components are concerned, it's NOT "waranteed" for any radical lifespan any more that Cummins or Navistar are, and the engines have NOT been "used for years" ANYWHERE!
