Does anyone see much benefit to the single or double flex control arms that Skyjacker offers? I don't see that they are worth the extra $$$ unless you are rock crawling and need the extra articulation.

Also, any feedback on the Skyjacker adjustable track bar? Better / worse / same when compared to similar product from other vendors.

Dane, you just didn't install dual shock mount I take it?

I can't comment on the benefit of the double-flex arms. You may try the off-roading area for that one. But I have read that the Skyjacker trackbar is OK, but not as beefy as the DT trackbar. I believe they were specifically referring to the upper frame mount bracket.

I love the new rear springs on your truck Dane. I suppose you hardly get any wheel-hop either?????

Wonder what the price range would be of JUST the rear springs. I already have the D25 and Bilsteins.

Can I just get the coil springs and not worry about the control arms, or should i get the skyjacker control arms too?

Hi guys. I know I may as well replace my track bar when I install the new coils and shocks, but is it a must? Some guys say it throws the axle off too far, others say the axle shift is not enough to worry about. Ideas?

Nick

By the way, re: previous post. I will be running either 265s or 285s for now, and maybe 305s or 315s later, not sure about the new wheel offset yet. So yes, there will be a possibility of tire rub if axle shifts with bigger tires.

Wheel hop won't be eliminated, all leaf sprung axles will have wrap, the block only amplifies it, he will have less hop, but it will still be there.

The Skyjacker rear springs alone are over $500.

EDIT, Cfast, you can just install the coils, you'll be fine.

Nploysa, You don't need to add a adjustable track bar either.

Rob, thanks for the PM. You answered my questions.

I do have one other question for you guys, kind of off topic from the coils, but...

Skyjacker: What are the differences between Single Flex, Double Flex, Stage 1, Stage 2?

Thanks!!!

You don't have to replace your track bar, but if you don't have your alignment checked after the D25 coils you will probably be replacing it soon after.

I was traveling to Ohio every weekend from TN and about the 3rd or 4th week after I had installed my coils I experienced Death Wobble on the trip home. Installed new shocks and steering stablizer and proceeded the next weekend 1st good bump on the interstate sent me into death wobble!

On the way home EVERY bump was a near death wobble experience! :{ Got home and changed out my trac bar and the alignment was pretty well off. oh well my own fault.
