Hey guys with the SJ D25s, I have a question for ya. How does the spring rate compare to stock 039/046 springs?? Are they staggered rate as well? Are they softer or harder?

I want to get a little more travel out of the front, so I am looking for springs that are just a bit longer (like the D25s), but don't want something super hard... .

I didn't notice much, if any, difference after installing the D25's, they even seemed to have a better ride. I think you'll be pleased with them.

My 3500 QC had 039's in both sides so for me the ride is a little stiffer but that could be from the bilstiens also. Don't get me wrong, it's not a harsh ride just stiffer, more like a sports car. I have a 9 foot fisher plow I hang up there and the old springs would bottom out when you ran over the smallest of bumps but I think I'd have to catch some serious air to bottom the D25 springs out. I know this truck still rides 625 times better than my 93 did!!!!!

Buy the D25 and don't look back. Like Rob i thought the ride was better but I think it is the extra 2 inches of travel that makes it seem so. Just remember that the stock shocks are a little too short with those springs. They will work but in potholes they will bottom from over-extending. :)
