d25 springs

if you put on the 2. 5 inch d25 skyjacker springs, the oem shocks are too short, correct? the new bilistein shock is not avaible yet. what can we put on with these springs? are the rancho 9000 longer than the stock shocks?

I believe you can order a set of Rancho 9000`s that are 2 inches longer to compensate for a lift. Give them a call, I'm sure they can confirm this.

called rancho , they said they do not even have a shock listed for 2500/3500 4wd yet (03) and do not make and extended for our trucks yet either. he said none on their shocks will work with 2" spacers or springs on any year truck 01,02, or 03. they are all too short!

I think with the 2 inch spacer you need about a 30" shock extended. Go to www.rockymountainsusp.com. They have tons of shocks

the guys at rancho now say 99221 for front and 99269 for rear. the FAQ on the board says, 99113 for front and 99269 for rear. he said 99113 are for old power wagons. the 99221 is 0-3 inch lift.

According to their catalog, 99221 are for '94-'02 3500's with 0" lift.

I bought the ranchos thinking they were longer and put them up next to the oe shocks and they are shorter by 1/4" if anything. They ride great but I know they will blow from topping out eventually.

I still have the stock shocks and have never noticed a problem with the added front lift. I've taken my truck to some rougher than average places too. FWIW.
