D70 Ring and Pinion.

Hi. I wasted my Pinion in my 93 and in the process ground down the tone ring. What I need help with is a vender (west coast) that has fair prices and personal service. (IE: Dave Goerend) I need to replace the 3-54 R&P set but want to toss the tone ring. Do I need to run a spacer for the tone ring or do gear set come for applications with or w/out tone rings. Ive done this install on another truck and know how to do the work but I am not knowledgable on all the suble parts variations. Most customer service types only want to take the "Quick order" and then later work out the wrong parts problem.

I know there are some experts on here so please help me out.

The tone ring presses onto the carrier not the ring gear. Try Four wheel parts 800-421-1050.
