It is much farther along then the pictures dictate but now the fuel lines and the intake are off to get the new s. s. lines to the FASS pump ran. I hope to be running in time for the Bloomsburg truck show. I would say we are pretty far along and almost ready to at least start the truck soon. The year of the truck is a 97 i am the original owner and it was cut apart for the solid axle before the warranty was up.

Hiya Rabbittree,

I was over the shop checking out 6BT-Dakota's project. It's coming along nicely.

I can't wait until it's on the road so we can see what it drives like.

I'd say more, but I had to sign a confidentiality clause before I could enter the garage doors. :-laf

I tought id let everyuone know that it is now officially running

Freakin' sweet, man! Congrats!

This may have been asked elsewhere - but how long did it take you start-finish?

My conversion isn't even close to being done yet.

Well it officially runs and we plan on driving it this week. Their are a few small details to work out yet but if all goes well it will be at the Bloomsburg 4-Wheel Off road Jamboree on the weekend of July 7-9.

I'm not building a Dakota, I have enough problems fitting myself into a full size ram due to my height mostly being in my legs. The pics are of a Banks project a while back, open the properties on the pics and you can get to the site they are off.

I'm building my Jeep up this winter with a 4bt. Next fall (2007), I'll be starting on a more interesting project, but I've got to get a deployment out of the way first. Apparently, there are still some barbaric animals posing as human beings in this world, I'm hopefully going to help remedy that, along with the price of diesel for my rigs #@$%! #@$%!

Sorry about that DK. But thank you for the imfo. I have a Drag Dakota in mind and those pic's caught my eye. Good luck on your project's and your deployment.

6BT-Dakota- How did you find room for an intercooler, radiator, and AC condensor? Got any pics of that area since you finished it? That has to be a heckuva tight fit! What kind of mileage are you getting?

I've been thinking about doing a 4 door dakota or durango for a while with a 4bt or 6bt- it probably won't happen but I can dream. (might be able to talk my wife out of 4 door tacoma if I can get a dakota that gets almost the mileage of her honda civic. :D )
