Merrick had 519 on his first pulls and then came back after the official runs were over and made some more. He could have picked up the 3rd place trophy with his 550+ run. But, he thought that it was unfair to have extra runs and for other people not to.



Kendrick ran on #2 only. We thought he had N2O, But the bottle turned out to be empty.



Thanks to everybody that came. And huge thanks to Merrick for all the work he put into making this thing work.



Also thanks to Modern Musclecar Technologies for allowing us to smoke the crap out of their shop and for putting up with us.

Since when did you jet my truck? I jetted your so it wasn't so dismal, but youhave no idea what I was running. You guys need to get the stories straight.

I kept thinking, yah, Quad sprayed, but was it NOS, or Propane, or both? So, when asked, I just said "He was spraying it". Sounds fair enough to me.



Even spraying it,, 647 is just :--) :--) :--) Especially since it's a D-Max. Those motors are really proving themselves.



I got out the calculator, and showed that Quad and I are pushing the motors about the same. Accounting for 20% drivetrain loss in both trucks...

Quad would run 776. 4 at the crank from a 300HP motor.

I would run 622. 8 at the crank from a 215HP motor.

Quad is 2. 6 times over stock.

I am 2. 8 times over stock.



Even though Quad has but down a higher number, he hasn't pushed the Max as far as the Cummins have been pushed.



Lets see what he can roll out next year. Will the Cummins advance more than the Max? or will Quad stomp us again?

Hey Merrick I'm up for it. But, I don't know if I'm up for another four truck build rally before it. Can we skip that next time.

Being in the middle of the country, I think there is a huge opportunity for a rally/dyno event next year. This year they fell within 2 weeks of each other, maybe be the same next year. DavidTD has that mobile dyno that was used at Muncie, maybe someone could hire him to come out, and we could have a NATIONAL dyno event.



I'm not one to harp on how great dyno numbers are, but there were almost as many people at the dyno as at the rally, and very few who were at both. With Piers coming next year, and who knows who else, just open your mind and think of the possibilities.

One only has to wonder why the Texas turbo god only rolled that. There are trucks with 1/3 the mods making as much of more than his truck with his twins . Matter of fact he is awful quiet for someone who spends more time on the computer than in the shop working.

I'm a dumb 24v guy, but how could sliding the plate be considered a stock pump?

Come on Andrew now everyone knows stock means just that . Guess they meant the stock plate was still inside. I kinda figured stock meant left alone and untouched.

I started in 3rd, and you can see the smoke clear, then shifted to 4th, and I think I must have put the fire out, as the smoke never cleared up.
