Hey guys. Just got signed up for TDR. Just starting out on this bombing thing. I want to see what the truck puts out, so sign me up for the Dyno. Really close, since I live in Grapevine!
I'm virtually stock and may not even run it but I'm planning to be there just hang out and shoot the breeze. Probably have 2 other Dodges coming along and a good chance of 2 Frauds coming as well. Sounds like fun!
I'll be there. I guess this means that I should get busy porting my head. Hopefully I'll have it done next week. It sure would be much easier to accidentaly install Don's head that is sitting in my floor board .
Hmmm, I just got around to clicking this thread. I will have to work on scheduling but I MAY be able to make it. I will let ya'll know for sure if I can.
I'm leaving for Tucson, AZ tomorrow, I'll be back on the 4 th. I'll post the list of the people that have emailed me when I get back. Now I'm off to go put a few miles on Fred's truck!
Let me know when you get back in town. We'll get your "new" (slightly used but painted) head on . LOL . I would never do that,... . well maybe just once for experimental purposes!
Cord. . how was the trip out west??? and did you hold up the TX name... How about the new fuel feeder??? is it in??? and has it turned the rollers... I hope to see it in Big D...
Bryan
Edit::: Opps. . I read some of the other posting about the Dyno Day out west... but did you ever get to run the new pump???
I made 476HP (although I slipped timing the day of the event and didn't get to dyno till' the next day)..... I wasn't carrying the TX name as well as I would have liked!!! We'll see if I can do any better in Dallas. I'm going to port my head this week and do a valve job on her... . hopefully that will help. 476 was also running stock delivery valves... . maybe I can squeeze a little more out of her with 191's. She's hurtin' for more air..... I think I'm losing about 2 miles per gallon through the tail pipe . See you in Dallas.
yeah I think that if you put 191's, and take the airfliter completly off for the dyno runs you'd get another 10hp. that's just that much closer!! At least you were over 450, that's a great # to be at. With a port, and springs, you'll be ok. Just take that timeing up to around 19*
By the way Cord, I sent you back a PM, but I'm sure you know this by now, and have probly already replyed back by the time you read this so never mind.
I'll be there. I'll send an email to BFC to let him know. There is a guy in our 4x4 club with a ferd that might want to show up. I hope he doesn't get too embarassed by the number... .
I will be there. I may have to see what the clutch will hold as I will not have a new one by the time of the meet.
My brother will also be coming with his 2002 F-350. If he can decide on what brand of chip we will see if it can make 300hp. Not holding my breath though.
