Where's Doc?

Jeep Grand Cherokee

So there I was, cruising (at a high rate of speed so it seems) home about 10pm after working for 10 hours. I see some red and blues behind me and am utterly shocked. Can't be for me, but I pull over and they follow me. Damn the luck. ;) Make a short story long, the Highway Patrol Officer was rather cool about doing 77 in a 65 and some other "issues" (license plate cover which is illegal). He asked about the diesel and how I liked it. I told him I loved it. Come to find out, he had just purchased a 2004 CTD! Way cool. So, of course we talked about the almighty Cummins T Diesel for 5 to 10 minutes after taking care of business.

I received a warning for the above items. I think the CTD helped me save a few $$$ in the long run! That and the officer was pretty cool and I didn't lie, I admited going over the speed limit. I did drive slower on the rest of the trip home though. :D

For buying a CTD.

Gets you out of speeding ticket. :D

Can someone make sure this is in the Texas DPS book? No warning for me. Even worse since I still have my CDL no defensive driving, no deferred adjudication... . just gotta take it. :(

Did you leave the engine on?

I got pulled over end of January. Left it running, bike cop saw my Blue Chip box on my dash and everything, didn't say a word about the box or not turning off my truck.

I turned it off. The MIA muffler/resonator might have been another method of irritability for him being as we were standing behind it, right where the exhaust dumps out! I at least had some foresight left to work around that!
