If you've been following the Motorhome Conversion you'd know it was supposed to start this weekend. NOT! Here's why:
1st: It rained all day Saturday. That put everyting outdoors on hold. I did get some minor wiring done inside the bus. By the time it quit there wasn't enough time to prime everything before dark. Did get most of the fluids in after it stopped raining. (we needed the rain really badly,so I didn't mind. )
2nd: NO cranking power. Hooked it all up. New 1000 amp battery and even turned a water filler neck around tomakefilling the radiator easier, before I tried to crank. Primed the Turbo and made sure it had fuel. Hit the key and nothing. The starter solinoid would not click. Soooooo! It either has a safety switch out of sinc with with the shifter or a stuck solinoid. Could be the starter circuit wired wrong, but since it's basically the way it was with the Ford, I doubt it. BUT, there was a small electrical fire a couple of months back!! I couldda missed a wire somewhere.
So, I'm going to get some rest. Tomorrow I'll build a LOOONNNGG lead test light with alligator clips and start trouble shooting it from start to finish.
I'm kinda dissapointed, but electrical I can fix.
I'm just tired and ready to get this thing running! BUT AFTER 15 MONTH WHAT'S A FEW MORE DAYS.
I still have to wire in the new Boost & Pyro Gauges. They finally showed up. And a lot of things on the "check it twice list".
Close but no CIGAR!

OH ,and I guess I should take a few pictures of the almost finished install. Cuz, after the front body work is on, you wouldn't see anything. This way you could appreciate my efforts.
I did buy a Cummins Powered Emblem to show off on my backside as I pass everyone on the hills.
