Thanks, TDR Staff

they just stole my truck, trailer, and both bikes

Happy Birthday John

I know that this will raise some eyebrows, but here goes.

I was downtown today, coming up to a four way intersection. I noticed that there were a couple of anti-war protestors displaying large cardboard anit-war slogans for all to see. I read the slogans, and was of differing opinion. I started to laugh an evil laugh. My wife looked over and paused. She then said "don't you dare!" I proceeded to pull the truck up to them slowly. I continued the evil laugh, looked around for any cops, and put my left foot on the brake pedal. After a quick look in my right side rearview to ensure proper aim of my soot pipe, I applied some pressure to the soot pedal. Blaaaahhhhh, five pounds of boost, Blaaaaaahhhh, a little more, then pooooooffffff:D !!! Nailed them so good they momentarily disappeared:eek: !! I was in a pretty conservative town, and those who witnessed the sooting certainly did nothing to show any protest to it. I said to myself, life is good:cool: .

You should be proud. You just gave some folks who have the time to protest, write letters and make the news a good reason for another cause - banning diesels. Beforehand they probably didn't give a hoot. Tear gas would have been a better choice.

Living in the small town that I goto school in, there is a "Cult" type extreame group nearby. Every year they come down to protest at our school on the busiest street in town. They like to protest how he was all going to he11 basicly for not being like them. I am waiting for the perfect chance for them to say something I don't like, "poof, and then there was night" I am expecting them in April, after I'll have some stuff done.

Bill,

I agree, but for building anger in me, I like to build some in them.

Some things are more important than diesels, like respecting our country and it's leaders.

Matt,

Well said. Illflem, banning diesels? Come on man, get real! I knew that there would be someone out there who would take this post out of context and try to give me a lecture about how what I did would make all us diesel enthusiasts look bad.

Proud? Actually, I'm very proud of what I did. If it weren't for the heroism of our troops, those buffoons wouldn't have a street corner to protest on, and I wouldn't have the opportunity to drive the best damn diesel in the whole country, blowing soot all over people who choose to disrespect it and the very people who make it possible for them to protest in the first place. We should be grateful for the sacrifices that the troops make and show our gratitide through support of their cause. Maybe those peace lovinge morons should move to France. If they can't take the smoke, then get the hell off of the street corner!

My only regret: There weren't any tree huggers around to smell the smoke too. I could have killed two birds with one stone.

BRAVO!!

I would have loved to have been there and saw that Oo.

I am incensed every time I see the damned protesters on TV. It reminds me of my days in the USMC during Vietnam and being spat upon by the hippies in Kalifornia.

Now my son, Mike Jr. is a Sergeant of Marines somewhere in Kuwait awaiting the order to take out Saddam. I think those who don't support our country when it calls or protests should be shipped to France or elsewhere.

Semper Fi!

Mike

It would be great if Saddam could be ousted without war, but that's how it goes! We'd still have Hitler if no decent nations fought back. Autos do have an advantage over manuals - great smokeouts!! Craig

We elected those idiots in Washington to make these types of decisions. If they screw-up and do the wrong thing they will not get re-elected. I would hope that they know more than the idiots that are out protesting. Before the fighting starts I don't care how someone wants to waste their Saturday. After the fighting starts then I take a protest as aiding the enemy. JMO

I alway love it when the press interviews some poor joe on the street and asks him what he thinks the US should do in this or that situation. Like the guy has enough information to have a opinion?? And if he does it means nothing, since he doesn't have the information that our Leaders have when they make these decisions.

Actually I have to agree with illflem, and I am a 23 year-old, who loves smoke as much as charlen. :(

It will be a matter of time before those tree-huggers stumble upon our society.

Wish I could have been there!!! Even though it might have been a childish or immature gesture, IT WAS APPROPIATE!!! Everyone is entitled to there opinion, but those people just aggravate me:mad: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just my opinion,

Simon

All the Way, Airborne!!!!

Yup, that was childish, immature and maybe irresponsible;

but, given that running over the knuckleheads would have been illegal as well, it was probably the best you could do on short notice :>)

Hooray for BSoldie!!! Quick question that has been naggin me for some time, did Ted Kennedy get elected for life??? How the heck long has he been in there and with his screw ups how does he stay???

BSoldie, thank you.

No, thank you to the veterans. ;)

DBoyd, No Ted Kennedy didn't get elected for life or so it would seem. I long for the day that he finally looses his office.

Eye for an eye.

Lets see, where to start? Maybe with "Freedom is a hollow word unless excersized. " So when is the President of the USA the only one in the world with enough information to make a decision?

Anyone can make a decision, pro or con, but when it puts 200,000+ men and women in harms way, they had better be right! This doesen't smell good. We have medal of honor winners in Iraq right now joining the human shields at hospitals, food stores, and schools.

I fought for the freedoms of this country to protest. It seems that both bsoldie and the protesters got a point across. One was childish, the other standup and make yourself known.

We already have troops in Iraq. I pray for there safe return and continue to pray "silently" for a peaceful solution. I will continue to post with the freedoms the veterans of this nation sacrificed there lives for in mind. I will continue to support others rights to express their ideals. I may not agree with them, and I may voice this. But I will fight and have fought for their right to do so.

I guess here is the rub. He has more information then "we" have and "HE" gets to make the decision. We only get to have opinions about the decision. Concerning Medal of Honor winners that are going to Iraq to be human shields  I hope their luck holds :(
