... OH, BTW, did you guys know that if you go into the readers rigs section and look over the 1st Gen trucks, then vote on them you'll eventually start to see more and more 1st gen trucks at the head of the list when shown by "ranking"... .

Well, I have to admit the pictures don't really give an accurate feel for the truck. It's really more of a "ten footer"... it looks good from about ten feet away. The paint isn't that good (lots of scratches/chips), but my main concern is the mechanical stuff - since I don't want/can't afford payments, this thing has to last me for a loooong time.



CG - I really didn't like the white/gray paint scheme when I bought the truck but couldn't pass it up. It's kinda grown on me since then, though. I'm thinking about repainting it since it's starting to peel around the edges, but I'll have to get a lot more motivated than I've been in, oh, about the past few decades before I tackle that job... .



Bob - I try to check out and vote, but being on a r e a l l y s l o w dial-up connection I don't get to do it very often. I'll try to check things out and vote a little more frequently to get more 1st Gen trucks on the home page. Maybe if I can quit spending money on the truck and Jeep I can upgrade to cable internet service... .
