How do I determine if my front Dana 60 has the vented differential cover on my '02? I need to order a Mag-Hytec and want to make sure I get the right one from Geno's.

This is off the topic, but I noticed in your SIG that you have 3rd Gen tow mirrors on your 02, did they fit right up? I have been wanting to get some tow mirrors on my 02, just haven't got around to it. Let me know how they fit and how you like 'em, Thanks

Your front diff will have a tube welded near the top of the cover-should be connected to a rubber hose, and at the end a plastic cap that's spring loaded to help it stay closed. Hope that helps.

IIRC, if you had a CAD, then you don't need a vented cover.

If you have a later (2000-2002?) D60F, that lacks the CAD, then you need a vented cover.

What I do is drill and tap the 02's for a nipple and use the standard cover. It works better just a little more work.
