2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Dana 70 or Spicer 70

A friend has a 96 2500 4x4 and it has a Spicer 70 in the rear, I have a 95 2x4 which has a Dana 70 I believe. Both have 3:54 gears. Will the Dana rear axle interchange with the Spicer as a complete replacement?

They are the same thing. Spicer is the automotive drive train division of Dana Corporation. Why do you want to change them?
