DANA 70 with Mag Hytec Cover

How much gear oil it will take to fill my Dana 70 after I install a Mag-Hytec cover?

I just installed one 2 weeks ago and it took about 5-3/4 qts. I did have to file a few high spots and threw some Prematex in some of the numbers and other low spots on the mating surface. No leaks. The only thing I goofed on was forgetting to lube the o-ring before installing. oops! Oh well, I'll order a new o-ring if I ever have to pull the thing off. BTW A tip to remove the existing cover. Forget about trying to pry the thing off. Just take a rubber dead blow hammer and hit it from the side. "Shear" action loosens it right up. Have fun.
