2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Dana 80 2500-3500

Does anyone know if the 2500 Dana 80 is the same as a 3500 dually Dana 80 ?

They are the same except for the ends. The dually axle is shorter and I think the ends are different as well.

The 2500 D-80 and the 3500 D-80 have the same center section. (ring-pinion-bearings) But the 2500 D-80 uses the D-70 spindles and bearing and brakes.
