Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Dana 80 & MagHytec, how much oil?

I'm giving the old gal her yearly dose of Royal Purple and I have 5 qts left after the wife's NV4500 and the motorcycles.



Seems I remember using 6 I always fill to the top of the MagHytec dipstick.



Anyone know off the top of their head?

About 8 quarts total. if you do a drain and refill and don't drain the hubs, it might be 7 or so... . So use close to 7 then fill to line on dipstick.
