Yes, that was the original plan. Rickson claimed that as the rear is hub centered, the studs do not really take the load. As that is the case, the cone nuts will work.
Still have not decided that direction I will go yet.
I talked to the guys at the wheel shop and thought of using a 1/4" spacer on the rear. It would go between the inner rim and the drum. If we used a large drill bit and made four of the holes concave, similar to the bolt holes on the 93 rims, then placed it so it matched the bolt holes that were convex and used cone shaped nuts it should work. NO? Sounds good in theory. After all what's the worst that could happen if it failed. Have to think more about that first before we try it. Shadrach
