Everyone's right about trying to keep the dark colored trucks clean. Having a "California Duster" makes the task at least bearable :)

The only problem I have with the Light Driftwood or ESPECIALLY the new Bright Silver colors is under bright driving conditions on the highway. It is a known fact that they are involved in a higher percentage of head on collisions due to a chameleon effect with the vehicle color blending in with the road (i. e. , oncoming traffic pulling out to pass and not seeing the silver vehicle until the last minute or????). For that reason, I have a friend and a relative that own silver colored cars and even though neither has DRL, they always drive with their headlights on.

Also, silver is the hardest color to match if body and paint work are required.

..... just some things to consider

Me? What can I say... black is too  (if you're not driving at night with your lights off it is a very safe color... very intimidating too :D ).
