Darn full screen video links

Can we not have a link to a video take up the entire screen? Or can we post a link to a video without a "preview" or whatever you call it, so it is just a normal hyperlink (text that can be clicked on)? PLEASE!!!!!!

It was something built into the core code. Took me a while but I modified it, since it's not an admin settings option.
