Anyone using a dash cam? I've been looking at the Garmin 55 for the trucks and it seems like a good unit with good reviews. The hiway craziness in Ca is beyond compare and I see it as a viable tool to both protect and identify a drivers performance. Any thoughts, recommendations are really appreciated.

Having read the threads listed above, I bought the Garmin 55 and so far it seems to be doing the job. I like the peace of mind it gives me. I bought an extra power cord so I can move it to whichever vehicle I am driving.

I've decided on the Garmin 55. I'll use it on my personal truck and if I like it I'll add it the others.
