Dash cover recommendations?

Does anyone have any experience (either good or bad) with any of the multitude of dash cover manufacturers out there? How was the fit and color? My interior color is agate.

I got mine from http://www.dashdesigns.com/ fit well and I had them install mine locally. I think it cost around $35 as I remember and installation was free.

Got mine from Dodge and I love it. It fit perfectly and it has never moved. I didn't even bother to use the velcro fasteners. Didn't need them.

I have used dashhugger for all my cars. They have all fit perfect, and never have used the velcro because they seem to stay in place. One of there shops was local to where I use to live. I took a look at there web site seems to be informative. I realize it is hard to order something withot seeing it, but I think you would be satisfied. Try www.dashhugger.com and good luck... ...

Put on a Dashmat Ultra in smoke for my agate interior. Just like others, it's installed without the velcro fastners. It conforms to the dash very well. The way it tucks in at the pillars and the windshield also adds to the stability. I suspect the others fit similarly.

why cover the dash?

Not trying to be ignorant here, but why in the heck does one cover the dash?? Is it looks, to preserve it or what?

If your truck sits outside most of the time, as mine does, the summer sun will cook the hell out of your dash, resulting in cracking and fading over time. As you might imagine, the cost of a replacement dash cover is many times the cost of an aftermarket velour of carpet cover, not to mention the PITA of R&Ring the stock cover.

Ordered mine throught GI-Joes here in Portland. $35. oo and it protects the dash and keeps things from sliding around. Helps with the dust also. No glare at night. I like it. Both my rigs have them. Well worth the money for the protection they give.
