I'm getting ready to install an aftermarket head unit and speakers in my '03. Can anybody tell me how to get the door panels and center dash out? I've done this several times on a GM, but I don't know if Dodge's are the same.

They're both VERY easy to do.

For the dash:

1. Open the glove box.

2. Remove the phillips screw inside the trash bag hook.

3. Grab the trash bag hook and give a sharp pull to pop that end of the center section loose. Keep working, right to left, pulling straight back until all the clips pop loose.

4. At this point, the center section is free, but you can't move it very far because of the cigarette lighter and heater control wires. There is just enough slack that you can see what you're doing while you unplug all the wires.

The best directions I've found for removing the door panels can be found here:

While you're at it, it wouldn't be a bad idea to install a set of Jimmi Jammers!

Thanks Bob! This seems like it will be ALOT easier than the GM vehicles I'm used to. I used to have a '96 Jimmy/Blazer, and that was a major pain to put the radio in. I had to drop the steering column to get the dash out far enough to install the new radio. To top that off, the door panels had these goofy clips that held them on. The clips are supposed to be removable and reusable, but I don't see how. There were only two screws on the whole door.
