i have looked at other trucks before i bought mine. on my dash the oil gauge reads 0-250-790 and my engine temps reads 60-90-110 when the other trucks i have seen read 0-40-110 for oil and engine temp reads 140-190 and i dont know the other. i was wondering if anybody elses truck has the same gauge readings as mine? why is mine like this? i hope someone knows. thanks in advance.

i ran my vin# and it said that my truck was built in warren. im assuming they mean warren mi. my speedo is in mph and my volt gauge reads the same as other trucks. this is weird. i would really like to know what the deal is with the gauges.

Your oil and temp gauges are metric. It may have been a vehicle for out of country. Up here in the north, (Alberta) all gauges are metric. FYI my oil runs just over the 250 and temp is about 75 unless its working hard.

I drove a canuck ford one time... ... ... . really threw me for a loop. I couldnt figure out why it seemed like I was going so slow. Then I noticed it was in km/h. DUH ME!
