Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Dash lights up like a xmas tree with warning lights

Ok this is the second time this has happened in the last week. I have been out plowing snow and the first time I wasnt even moving but the ABS and the Airbag light come on at the same time then I get a chime the the check gauges and check engine come on then all the gauges shut down and my odometer spells out "NO BUS" where the milage used to be. The first time it lasted 10 seconds then went out. The second time it last 1 minute. No reasoning for it that I can find. I have tried pulling fuses to see if I can reproduce the samething but I can't get it to do it. I have a ton of gauges and they all are in the normal areas. I hope someone has heard of this before and can help.

Dash lights up like a christmas tree !!!

Probably not the same problem but is the ECM plug in fully seated ???? Mine wasn't from the factory so have been suffering from that since new.

Yah I checked that the other day all three plugs and seem to be in all the way. It seems to happen more when its wet outside. It is doing it atleast once a day now so I'm hoping to have it just stay on for a change so it can be tracked down. Its sad but this problem has me questioning the reliabilty of my truck to the point that I already have the dealership waiting for my deposit on the mega cab diesel. I hate stupid problems that come and go and cant be traced.

Mine did that also, dealer replaced the ECM, reflashed new program in it and it runs better than ever!

Ok does anyone have an ecm for sale for a 99.
