I'll try to remember to take some tonight and send them to you or post them if I can remember how. The gauge pod sets far enough forward that it does not obstruct your view. My wife who claims to be 5'-2" does not have any issue with them either. Sometimes my forgetter works better than my rememberer.
TDR member NavyDood did a excellent write up with some great pics of his 3 gauge dash installation. Date of write up was 10-18-05, but the write up was for an O4.
I saved the link for when I do my installation but would like to see someone elses 06 pics of the dash mount too.
TDR issue 51, page 144 has an article on gauge installation on a 06 but it is for the pillar mount.
Thanks. I found NavyDood's write up and it looks great. Folks are still adding threads to it. I'm really going to find it usefull when I start my gauges. A buddy sent me a couple of pics of the pod on his '05 that helped me (and my wife) to visualize how it would look. The more the better though. I want to do this one right the first time.
I just installed this unit on my 04 and for me it was the best option. I didn't want to lose the a-pillar mounted grab bar and didn't want to hassle with wiring above the headliner to get the guage pod near the rear view mirror. I purchased ISSPRO guages and think they are decent product for the $.
