I have a 2 gauge pillar pod mount on right now and i am adding another gauge to the collection and am debating weather i should make a bigger blind spot and add it to the pillar or get the dash mount instead... .

What do alot of you out there think is a nice clean look? :D

Never done a dash mount before... Am just wondering how hard it would be to do on an 06? Should i just stick with the pillar and add a 3rd gauge since i already have it wired up over there?

Is it that much harder to re-route the wires and tubing under and through the dash?

I also have a dash mount that I chose because you dont have to take your eyes of of the road to see the gauges and it does not create a blind spot. through a ball cap on the dash between the defroser ducts and you will get and idea what it is like. to run the wires the panel between the wind sheld and dash pops loose and you only need to drill one hole in the panel to run the wires.

If or when I add more gauges I will definately go with the dash mount. I am not impressed with the pillar mount. Actually puts the guages too close for me. The increase in the blind spot with the pillar mount is the other reason for me to make that change.

What ever you do, don't get the overhead windshield mount. Not happy with mine. Velcro sucks and I find the thing falling off when off road or when the music is up. I too want either a pillar or dash mount. Leaning towards pillar just because I don't want to lose my precious little cubby. I love that space. :-laf
