I just ordered a plastic dash replacement for my 99 2500. I have read a few of the post on how to install it. I was wondering if anyone has tried to drill out the indents in the overlay and then used the original dash screws to hold it down?
I haven't got the dash yet and when I get it I might see that it is not possible. However, I have read where a couple of people were thinking about it. Has anyone ever done it? If so how did it work?
Thanks to everyone for the great post. I learn so much from reading the forum and I try to pass on what I have learned.
I am having my truck painted now. When I get it back I am going to do the interior. I let it sit for a long time when diesel prices went way up, then decided that I was not going to let uncle sam control what I drive. Supply and demand bull$%^.
