2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission dash

I had removed my dash for ac repair and had installed everything back then 2 weeks later I had 4-5 cracks in the top of the dash? I replaced it with another and its been a year and again 4-5 cracks? Has anyone had this problem and if so what have or am doing wrong.

Where do you live? The sun and heat are hard on these dashes (94-97 anyways)

I live in northern KY, I have not found another dash that has done this. My truck is a 2000. Thinking maybe I have done something wrong?

My dash has cracks all over it. My 95 was like new when I sold it. Jeff

96 pulled it out once and its parked outside all the time... . No cracks

I've taken a small drill bit and by hand drilled a small hole at the end of each crack to see if it stops there, if not don't know if I'll replace it until I can find out why its happening. Looks like it may be just very cheap material and design.
